GOODYEAR, Ariz. — Cleveland shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera left the Indians’ game against the Los Angeles Angels with an undisclosed injury. Cabrera led off the fourth inning with a triple Friday. During the next at-bat by Grady Sizemore, Cabrera had to dive back into third on a pickoff attempt by catcher Mike Napoli. A few pitches later, trainer Lonnie Soloff went out to check on Cabrera, who walked to the dugout and was replaced by Jason Donald. Cabrera, moved into the leadoff spot this year by new manager Manny Acta, hit a home run in his first at-bat this spring training and is 5-for-10. — Associated Press
