The Bake/Sale Yard Sale went over really well at the Singletary House in Streetsboro behind Defer Tire.

Visitors were treated to a grand tour of the house by Cole Waite and Elwood "Woody" Howitt who are two great Historians of Streetsboro History. Streetsboro has a great history for at one time Streetsboro was the largest Cheese producer in the United States producing over 600,000 lbs of cheese in one year. There were up to 8 cheese manufacturers located in Streetsboro.

Taking a view of the house was Grady and Noah Zappone of Streetsboro along with their mother. The boys seemed to be having a great time as you can see them at the organ while their proud mother looks on at the boys. You can see her in the mirror here.

The Streetsboro Heritage Foundation is a great organization for they are logging and preserving history of Streetsboro. Anything that happens starting yesterday and before is history. We welcome any and all items that anyone would like to contribute or donate to the Streetsboro Heritage Foundation for display for the public.

The Singletary Heritage House Museum is owned by the community and not the city. Anyone can become a member whether you live is Streetsboro or not. Please come and join us at the monthly meeting on the third Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM. Meetings are held at the Singletary House.
