KENT, OHIO (August 8, 2010) - Teen rock band, O.N.E., has been selected as one of five area bands opening for national recording artist, Cartel, at the inaugural Ravenna RockFest.

The band includes Kent Roosevelt High School students Cassie Chapman and Mia Chapman, Field High School's Emily Jackson and North Canton Hoover High School's Matt Chambers.

"We always welcome opportunities to give back to the community," said bassist Cassie Chapman, "The chance to also perform on the same stage as Cartel is incredible. It should be an awesome day of music for a great cause."

The RockFest, which benefits the Friends of the Park and Family and Community Services, will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at the Ravenna Stadium. Doors open at 12:00 p.m. and music starts at 1:00 p.m.
