Registration being taken for Half-Day or All-Day programs

Randolph, Ohio, July 2010- The new St. Joseph Pre-School in Randolph, housed in St. Joseph Elementary School is nearly completed and will be ready to open when school resumes in August.

The new preschool offers either half-day or all-day programs and is now accepting registration for children ages 3-5 years. According to Lisa Edie, Kindergarten teacher instrumental in helping to create the faith-based preschool, "We want to provide a nurturing, loving environment where children can learn about God and faith, and the teachers can foster morals and values. We want the children to be successful in their lives ahead. In addition, having the preschool located inside our elementary school allows the pre-school children to participate in the same school activities and hot lunch program as the St. Joseph School students."

The preschool offers half-day or all-day programs, a faith-based curriculum through The Diocese of Youngstown and the State of Ohio. The preschool class will be taught by accredited and certified teacher, Melissa (Missy) Campbell. The all-day program offers physical education, computer classes, library, and hot-lunch program. All-day students participate in school-sponsored activities as well as being enriched with Kindergarten readiness skills. The preschool teacher will foster creativity, imagination, self-expression, and critical thinking. In addition, the children will learn about God and their faith.
