Centaur Stables, owned by Jonathan and Shelley Lazo, is newly established. Offering a clean, open, professional and friendly full care 18-stall horse boarding facility with 12x12 and 10x12 matted stalls (most stalls have a window). The facility offers a large 70x150 indoor arena, out-door arena, grass pastures, daily turn-out (weather permitting), heated viewing lounge and changing area, hot/cold water wash rack, stalls cleaned 6 days a week. Horses are fed twice daily (hay/grain, a.m. and p.m.) We strive to make your experience with horses fun, safe, and hassle free whether you are boarding, or learning to ride!

Full Care: $375.00 per Month
Riding Lesson: $25 per half hour, $40 per 1 hour private lesson

Meet the Owners: Jonathan and Shelley are new to the area and bring with them a combined 30 years experience with horses to Rootstown. Shelley has been certified in Equine Sports Massage Therapy through the Equissage Program for 6 years. She also attended Meredith Manor International Equestrian Center in WV, where she received a Riding Masters III certificate in dressage and a teaching certificate. She also took courses in training, showing, horse health, and farrier services. Jonathan attended Lake Erie College and was enrolled in the equestrian studies program. He has worked at several other equestrian facilities and has experience with many types of horses, both on the ground and in the saddle. He is the primary driver of the trucks and trailer with Centaur Horse Transportation.
