Did Portage County hit the lottery? Everywhere I look I see brand new Portage County Water Resource trucks.

Since Portage County has lowered property taxes maybe the Water Resource department could follow suit and lower their rates. The eldery and poor in this county sure could use a break.

I think your right too-many-morons-out-there...all the trucks look alike...also before you sling mud, look at your bill to see just where you get your water from, not everyone gets their water from "Portage County Water Resources". I think alot of people get it from independent companies or the cities. I'm ok with paying that bill, someone has to maintain the sewer plants.

Funny how anyone could pick the Water Resources vehicles out from all the other County vehicles since all County vehicles have the same Portage County logo on the side. Someone's got a bone to pick with the Water Dept me thinks! Be grateful you don't live in Mantua - if you did you would beg to pay the County's rates...

When did they lower property taxes? And yes, if they did hit the lottery why dont they use some of that money to make our water quit tasting like dirt and smelling so bad.

Let me know if your water bill reads like mine does.
$32.86 Water
$55.86 Sewer
$5.05 Service charge

Total $93.77

Check your taxes... There is a new assessment for Storm Water District special assessments on the bill.

Guess they started spending the money before they got it!!

BTW, seems really over the top that we are being assessed (TAXED) for rain falling on our property!!

OHIO EPA has got to go!!
