Lawrence "Larry" E. Osborne 66 of Streetsboro passed away Saturday November 15, 2008 at his residence after a long battle with cancer. He was born May 3, 1942 in Three point, Kentucky to the late Andy and Ida (Overbey) Osborne. Larry has lived in Streetsboro the past 13 years and was formerly of Indiana where he belonged to the #50 Montgomery Masonic lodge, the Shriners, the Scottish Rite in Indianapolis. He was a member of the St. Thomas Lutheran Church in Streetsboro, a veteran of the US Army and retired from the Smurfit Stone Container Corp. in Solon where he was a plant department manager. Survivors include his wife of 44 years Inge (Bauer) Osborne, daughters Monica Kreiberg of Streetsboro, Angela High of Crawfordsville, Indiana, three grandchildren, brothers Richard Osborne of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Frank Osborne, Bill Osborne both of Shepherdsville, KY, sisters Betty Stottman of Shephersdville, KY, Stella Mae Osborne of VA, Effie Whitehead of Harlan, KY, Alene Janes of Brandenburg, KY and Judy Pyles of Birmingham, AL. Calling hours will be 1-4 PM Wednesday November 19, 2008 at St. Thomas Lutheran Church with funeral services following at 4 PM Wednesday with Pastor Rob Taylor officiating. Family requests memorials to the Robinson Memorial Hospice and Visiting Nurse 6847 N. Chestnut St. Ravenna, Ohio 44266.
