well, well Mr.Reporter for not having interest in the Village you sure do know a lot about the goings on here. We have a village attorney (for the time being)and will be interviewing others to fill the position. The gurantee is interviewing many and looking into ones background to make sure they are a good fit, I would imagine. New council members will also make a difference.
The issue here happened to be the person, if you were there you would have seen this attorney throw a childish little fit after it was brought to the table that the village should interview potential replacements and give a 3 month notice to the current one.
There are changes on the horizon.....sometimes it takes a little push or a little blog to ruffle feathers and make people do what they are supposed to do.
Thanks for all your interest in a village that you have no vested interest in. Also kind of funny that people do come to the meetings who do not live there, have no "vested" interest in but are intrigued because of posts on the RC or the blog.

Sounds like you had a very productive council meeting. I am sorry I missed it, but as I stated before, it would be counter productive for someone without a vested interest in BL to attend your council meeting.

I do have one question for you...now that you have no village attorney, now what? Do you have a replacement in mind? If so, what gurantee is there the next one will be any better?

In other words, what processes have been changed to ensure the people of BL that the same mistakes won't happen again?

I have seen this before in other areas. Sometimes the problem isn't the person, it's the process they have to work with in.

I really don't know the real issues you are facing, but has this been addressed by anyone?

I plan on being at the January, Brady Lake Village council meeting.
I would not miss that,for anything.
Even though you are not from Brady Lake.You should try to make the meeting.
