Trees get new life at Berlin ReservoirJanuary 28, 2012
Photo Viewers:
Steve Moss of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife unloads Christmas trees at Berlin Reservoir. The trees will be placed in the water, right, to attract fish. The fish use the underwater structure created by the trees for cover, foraging and spawning. According to the Ohio State University Extension Office, artificial structures can help concentrate fish and increase angling success. The reservoir is two miles east of Deerfield in southeast Portage County.
