Kent Junior Mothers is currently seeking members for the 2010-11 year. This is a non-profit organization of Kent mothers with children under the age of 9. The club has been in existence since 1945 and is a member of the Kent United Services Organization.
The organization is active from September to July, culminating with its sponsorship of Safety School, its primary service project. Other club activities include volunteering and giving back to the community through events like The Festival of Lights, the Lisa Hawthorne Memorial Service Award, and The Heritage Festival.
In addition, the group hosts fun family events for its members and their kids, including Easter Family Fun Day, Milk & Cookies with Santa and family outings.
Any Kent mother with a child 9 or younger is eligible for membership. To join the group, contact Stephanie Alexander, co-membership chair, at 330-346-0460.

Dix Communications
