There will be a meeting for anyone interested in becoming a vendor at the Randolph Farmers Market to be held at 7 p.m. March 31 at the Randolph Senior Center. This year, the market starts at 10 a.m. June 19 at the Randolph School Park at 1776 S.R. 44. ------ Big Brothers & Sisters of Portage County is in need of volunteers from the Southeastern corner of the county (including five children in the Waterloo schools). They have both boys and girls waiting and they have zero volunteers from anywhere in that area. Big Brothers & Sisters of Portage County has been serving the children in Portage County since 1977, when the program was started as part of Kent Social Services. In 1980, they incorporated and became their own agency. The winners were as follows: Best of Show, Brycen Colbert of the Tiger den; first -- Clay Asbury, second -- Tim Sendlng, third -- Doug Beans of the Webelo Den; first -- Derek Combs, second -- Dylan Combs, third -- Dominic Juranty of the Bear Den; first -- Robbie Penix, second -- Javid Brock, third -- Ian Derbfuss of the Wolf Den; first -- Brycen Colbert, second -- Devon Beans, third -- Michael DuPlaga of the Tiger den. Congratulations to all these young men and keep up the great work! ------ The Atwater Lions Club will be holding a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 27 at the Atwater Town Hall, 1219 S.R. 183. Donations of items would be appreciated. Donations may be brought to the Atwater Town Hall from noon until 8 p.m. March 26. There is no item too small or too old. No clothing or shoes. Good Friday service will take place at 7 p.m. April 2. The service will be a quiet time of reflection, music and communion. Easter morning will begin with the Sunrise Breakfast at 9 a.m., followed by the Resurrection Worship Service at 10:30 a.m. Join them in worshipping the risen King with friends at Friendship Bible Church.
