The Crestwood Intermediate School fourth-grade "Just Say No!" club meets once a month during lunch recess. During the meetings, advisers Irene Ruehr (CIS guidance counselor), and fourth-grade teachers Betty Ostrowske and Margie Franks discuss the dangers of illegal drugs, alcohol and tobacco with the boys and girls. Kent State University athletes attended the February meeting to share their success stories and told how and why they have chosen a drug-, alcohol-, and tobacco-free life. The athletes and KSU mascot Flash also brought posters, which they gave out to all of the boys and girls in the club.
