in" Dorothy Marie Robertson, age 83 of Warren, entered into eternal rest on Saturday March 6, 2010 at Community Skilled Nursing Home in Warren. Dorothy was born on June 5, 1926 in Washington, PA the daughter of Ernest & Minnie (Myers) Wheeler. She has resided in Warren for the past 3 years, formerly of Wayland for 40 years. Dorothy grew up in Washington PA moving to Ohio in 1947. Dorothy married Robert Richard Robertson Sr. on August 13, 1942. Robert died June 18, 2008 after 65 years of marriage. Dorothy was employed with the Ravenna Arsenal retiring in 1988. She was a member of the Edinburgh Church of God. She enjoyed making porcelain dolls, camping, and doing crafts with her grandchildren. Dorothy is survived by daughters and son in laws Donna & Pete Bennett of Ravenna, Thelma & Russell Matthews of Rootstown, Daughter Pamela Hayden of Chesapeake W Va, sons and daughter in laws Paul & Cathleen Robertson of Leavittsburg, Bill & Gena Robertson of Bristol, 18 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by a son, Robert Jr, 6 sisters and 2 brothers. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 10, 2010 at 10:00 AM at James Funeral Home. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pine Knoll Cemetery.
