By Dave O’Brien Record-Courier staff writer In a recent sweep of the village, Windham police arrested nine alleged drug offenders — eight adults and one juvenile — on a total of 21 felony and eight misdemeanor charges. Windham Police Chief Edward Perdian said officers of the Windham Police Department served nine warrants for drug trafficking and complicity charges starting Wednesday afternoon. All were arraigned in Portage County Municipal Court in Ravenna following their arrests. Those arrested, their charges and bonds set at arraignment were: • Anthony R. Fincham, 24, of Leavittsburg. Three counts of trafficking in drugs, all fourth-degree felonies, and one count of possession of criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony. Ten percent of $55,000 bond. • Shannon R. O’Neal, 47, of 9544-A Green Meadow Road. Two counts of complicity to trafficking in drugs and one count of trafficking in drugs, all fourth-degree felonies, and two counts of child endangerment, both misdemeanors. Bond unknown. • Sheaha J. Hardesty, 27, of 9544-A Green Meadow Road. Two counts of trafficking in drugs, both fourth-degree felonies, and four counts of child endangerment, all misdemeanors. Ten percent of $35,000. • Bradley T. Durst, 18, of 9854-B Community Road. Two counts of trafficking in drugs, one fourth-degree felony and one fifth-degree felony, and one count of complicity to trafficking, a fourth-degree felony. Ten percent of $55,000. • Scott J. Campbell, 19, of 9028-F Maple Grove Road. Three counts of trafficking, all fourth-degree felonies. Ten percent of $55,000. • Amanda V. Goodwin, 21, of 9627-E Community Road. One count of complicity to trafficking, a fourth-degree felony, and one count of permitting drug abuse, a misdemeanor. $35,000 personal recognizance. • Stanley J. Zdanczewski Jr., 32, of 9627-D Community Road. One count of trafficking, a fourth-degree felony. Ten percent of $25,000. • Michelle M. Goodwin, 23, of 9854-E Community Road. One count of permitting drug abuse, a misdemeanor. Personal recognizance. • A male juvenile, name and address not provided because of his age. Four counts of trafficking, one fourth-degree and three fifth-degree felonies. Among the drugs bought, sold and seized during the investigation were marijuana, crack cocaine and prescription medication, according to Windham police. The arrests, which Perdian said took place without incident, were the result of a lengthy investigation by Windham police and consultation with the Portage County Prosecutor’s Office.

Well finally someone has seen the light, good job, steelersrule13. I understand where you are coming from, I was never saying that this group of kids were totally innocent, they made bad choices that they might regret the rest of their lives but everyone needs to realize, they are just kids and until something like this happens, they think they are invincible. I frequent the local restaurant and have talked with some of these kids and they are not bad kids, they just chose the wrong crowd to hang with. I also think that some of this bust was a big set up, because the major player in everyone's case wasn't arrested, hmmmm? I smell something fishy there, maybe a "snitch" deal? Well, its been nice conversing with everyone, but this will be my last post on this topic. Everyone needs to get over this and move on, life is too short. Those who claim to be loyal Windham residents also need to start acting like it and support our local businesses, when you go outside of Windham and bash the restaurant, the supermarket, the gas station, or any other dedicated, up standing establishment, you are bashing yourself and everyone in the town of Windham because people don't associate the name of the business with the name of the town. They associate the name of the town with the business. Let's be smarter and more loving and forgiving. THE END

Some of you are preaching to others on here not to judge and that it's wrong to judge. Well DUH!!! You are judging as well then. The fact of the matter is....what happened, happened! Whether these people were guilty or innocent they still got arrested. Well if you got arrested and charged with a felony then you were doing something. Even if it is being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Well again...You would NOT of been arrested or wrongly accused if you would be hanging with a better crowd of people. Think about it. I am not judging them or bashing them by saying that, they should just have more respect for themselves, higher standards and chose a better crowd to hang with. I just hope that if nothing else, they at least learned that from this experience. So they made mistakes, we all do. But learn from it!!!
And come on lady gaga, you may have a few valid points, and yes you are right about some of the facts such as... smoking and being on the phone, etc. Because I have seen that go on in there... But seriously, you are making this more about the establishment than the real story here. You are using this incident as an excuse to bash the town restaurant. Which is a total different story. Write into sound off about that. Not on here...it is irrelevant to this story. And smoking and talking on the phone does not make you a drug dealer...if it did, then I guess all smokers are drug dealers!! Do you think before you write this stuff?? If they spend more time on the phone and outside smoking it just means they have bad work habits, that's all that says. It does not make them drug dealers!!!

In my opinion windumb cops are good for nothing. They get to a crime scene just in time to draw the chalk around the victim or victims. They harass decent citizens when they have nothing better to do. They are quick to Taze or pepper spray because they lack sufficient self-defense and/or physical ability due to their poor physical conditioning.
I think They treat innocent people as criminals without investigating all of the facts.
The windumb police are nothing more than a clean-up crew at best, funded by our hard-earned tax dollars.
The windumb police are nowhere to be seen if a home invasion is taking place or someone is getting shot or mugged, but if you run a red light or don't come to a complete stop at a stop sign, they are right there waiting to ticket you or worse.
They invade our personal rights whenever the chance arises and use what little knowledge of the law they possess against the good citizens of our once great nation's states and cities.
Without their Tasers, guns, pepper spray and badges, they are nothing but giant, gaping, infested VAGINAS that didn't get any respect in high school and are taking out their feelings of inferiority on the good people of the U.S.
The next time you see a pig, tell them how good of a job they are doing and thank them for absolutely nothing.

lady gaga - talk about a hypocrite(that's how u spell it)your children and yourself have not been without shame over the years and I personally would be ashamed if my grammar and spelling were as horrendous as yours! You should volunteer for the Windham PD...your investigation skills are amazing...I mean if kids are smoking and on the phone they must be drug dealers! Good call, you would make a great detective...oh, but wait I think that job requires an education...sorry, you wouldn't qualify! Please enjoy your Thanksgiving inside your glass house.

I am sure those charges were dismissed so they could be refiled under a true bill of indictment as actual felonies in the common pleas court. More news to come on this great bust I am sure.
Unbelievable how some on here will try to justify or excuse the actions of these punks as "mistakes" when in fact they made "choices" to be criminals. They only enable them with that madness. Reap the whirlwind you drug dealing scum!!!

Sounds like Lady Gaga has more of an issue with the local restaurant then with the drug bust. Better be careful Lady Gaga, the owners could advise a lawyer about possible slander, sheeesh. If you don't like the place, STOP going in there. I will continue to frequent the establishment because I haven't seen any of the activity you are presuming, going on in there. Smoking outside, well duh?, you can't smoke inside and all young adults I know, talk on the phone, 24/7, what does that have anything to do with it? You seem awful angry, Lady GaGa, did I hit a nerve with the bagel comment? lol Are you a Saint? Apparently you didn't get my comment about the unemployment rate? Man, blind and oblivious!
