Staff report
The Cleveland Browns will hit the field tonight at Cleveland Browns Stadium for the team's first preseason game of 2008.
The Browns will host the New York Jets, with a 7:30 p.m. start scheduled on WKYC (Position 2 on Time Warner Cable).
Backup quarterback Brady Quinn is expected to see significant time for the Browns.
But General Manger Phil Savage stated prior to the start of Cleveland's training camp that Derek Anderson would be the team's starting quarterback for the start of the 2008 regular season.
Meanwhile, the Jets have a little tighter race for its starting quarterback position.
Neither Chad Pennington or Kellen Clemens have officially been named the starter for New York, and the team's decision could be directly related to who performs better during the Jets' preseason games.
